State broadcaster RTP will combine with Free-to-air Portuguese commercial broadcaster SIC and Pay TV commercial broadcaster SporTV Portugal to offer extensive live coverage of the 2010 FIFA World Cup in Portuguese.

RTP HD will broadcast all their matches in HD and SD signal. Together with SporTV Portugal all 64 world cup matches will be broadcast live in HD.
